Peggy Lehmann

Jean Cornish, PhD

Peggy is in charge of the day to day laboratory duties such as ordering and managing laboratory databases. Her research interests lie in studying the effects of the fungal like microsporidian pathogen Nosema ceranae on the European honeybee Apis mellifera. Peggy is currently examining ways to kill Nosema spores and how studying how Nosema spores infect gut epithelial cells of the honeybee.


Dr. Jean Cornish is from Australia and recently joined the laboratory as a senior research scientist. She has extensive research experience both in industry and academia. She currently is attempting to identify SrbA interacting proteins to uncover potential upstream regulatory factors of SrbA.
